Dr. Katherine Y. Brown is a humanitarian committed to saving lives and transforming communities. A wife and mother of four children, she knows the value of hard work. A firm believer of the phrase, "Anything worth doing is worth doing well," Dr. Katherine proves that success doesn't come quickly or easily but is earned through compassion, dedication, and perseverance. 

Founder of "Learn CPR America," she is not just changing lives; she is saving them nationwide by bringing life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to underserved communities. She founded the Roberta Baines-Wheeler Pulmonary Hypertension Awareness Group to increase awareness of pulmonary hypertension (PH) in honor of her late mother. 

A nationally recognized expert in health disparities and curriculum development, she developed Dr. Katherine Y. Brown (KYB Leadership Academy) to expose high school and college students to leadership development while educating them on pulmonary hypertension and careers in healthcare. KYB, known as KNOW YOUR BRILLIANCE, is rooted in the belief that high school and college students must be positioned to lead but must have opportunities to practice leadership skills. 

Dr. Brown's background includes working with organizations and agencies, speaking on chronic diseases, health disparities, and innovative strategies, including faith-based health initiatives for underserved populations. She has lectured at prestigious academic institutions nationwide. A content expert, she started "Katherine Brown Consulting" to help train individuals and organizations in innovative strategies for community engagement.
